2025 BENEFICIARY

The Hood County Stampede is excited to introduce the community to its official 2025 beneficiary, Be An Angel, we'll be working specifically with their Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for children with special needs by providing adaptive equipment, hearing devices, respite care, select services, and support programs. They began in 1986 when a volunteer parent at a Houston high school simply believed they could make an impact! They rallied other parents at the school to come together and secure a necessary wheelchair for a special needs student whose family couldn’t otherwise afford one. This act of compassion created a groundswell, transforming and impacting the lives of thousands of special needs children across Texas through their programs. In January 2022, Be An Angel launched their Dallas/Fort Worth chapter and has been impacting special needs children and their families throughout North Texas communities, including Hood County, ever since!
